Usually, $600 per class plus reasonable expenses.
What numbers are we talking about?- From Arlington,
Virginia to Pensacola, Florida, for instance:
- Airfare is about $200
- A rental car would be about $250
- Four days lodging and food would be
about $250
- Two days teaching would be about $1200
For a
grand total of:
- $1900 more or less, say $2,000.
- If more classes are taught on the same
trip, the cost per class will go down, but that’s a good figure for
budgetary processes
- Clustering classes makes the expense per
class less.
- Coordinating with other Centers makes the
classes more affordable for all.
